If you’re 100% committed to becoming a barber and want the fastest route to the top of the profession this exclusive package of one to one training with the best barber educators in the county will get you there.

A complete foundation for your career as a barber; there is no other premium course in the UK to match the training offered here.

This is a 4 day a week, 8 week course that will take you from the ground up to qualified working barber. The first 6 weeks cover your Level 2 qualification with a seamless transition into your Level 3 for the final fortnight.

COURSE DETAILS:

Backed by the VTCT awarding body, these are internationally recognised NVQ qualifications.

Suitable for those with no or little experience in barbering, we educate you in the fundamentals of the trade, giving you the skills and confidence to enter the industry. You’ll leave with the shop-ready skills we know barbershops want.

The course is run on Monday to Thursday for 6 consecutive weeks at the Luke & Company Academy in Ruislip, NW London.

Suzanne and Luke, supported by team of leading barber educators will lead your detailed, one to one barbering training with skill, flair and creativity.

Luke and Mike add business mentoring with media and marketing training throughout the program to give you a fully rounded suite of skills to launch your barbering career.

Suzanne, our Head of Centre, ensures that the quality of training exceeds all standards.

In the closing weeks of your course, we have our unique “Barbershop Draft” where we bring in selected shop owners to meet and network with you.

We present the greatest range of training, support and complimentary skills offered on any barbering course.

This course is not for everyone. It is intense, individual, bespoke training not available anywhere else. The extras we build in to our courses are designed to challenge and stretch your imagination. We give you the skills to operate at an exponentially higher level in the business of barbering.

Mike & Luke will introduce you to basic business skills. Learn how to manage the red tape of opening up your own shop. Work as an employee or self-employed, how to stay on top of tax and regulation

Luke will also offer one to one mentoring that draws on the best practice from his 30 year career.

What does a day at the academy look like?

Hours 10:00am - 6:30pm Monday to Thursday for 8 consecutive weeks

We’ll start with the theory of barbering and as quickly as possible get you started working cutting on blocks and then clients

The core of your training will be hands on services with real clients, all under the supervision of our teaching team

Throughout the program there will be regular specialist sessions in business, marketing, photography and finance.

Mike will lead you through the process of creating your own marketing images and Luke will show you how to develop your social media presence.

We’ll have regular guest barbers coming in to give talks and demonstrations

In your final weeks we have our unique “Barbershop Draft” where we bring in selected barbershop owners to meet and network with.
